Well there are some quirks to it but its amazing that a dated device still works relatively well today how many years later.
That brings me to this question. How many of our seemingly outdated gadgets are still usable and relevent today?
Well for starters, let's list down what gadgets that's still lying around the house. There's the senorita's olympus digital camera. All 4 megapixels of it. Was quite medium to high end at the time. I think its still functioning, but when most phones ur using right now have better cameras, u tend not to bother with it anymore.
I have my palm tungsten t5. It was quite useful at the time. I used it for everything to keep my life organized. I was using a dumbphone at the time coz I preferred to keep my gagdget separate. Got me a wireless sd card thingy so that I can access the net via wifi. If not I would tether the palm via bluetooth. You can watch movies on it, games, and pretty much do anything with it. Now it just lays there in the storeroom. I still take it out sometimes just for nostalgia sake.
But I guess the smartphone killed the pda star.
We also have a spiffy nokia 6230I from back in 2005 which still work as my short stint of using it as a backup phone.
There's not much change to the things that we do. Instead the speed and efficiency has improved. So if u needed a camera in 2005 chances are u still need a camera in 2011. The form may change but the functions are still the same.
