just one of them soppy entries..

the last time the senorita and i went out on v-day was two years ago. i think it was dinner somewhere in klcc kot. last year i was away. this year it's not really feasible. sometimes u do wonder how la u would get to do all the fun stuff that u did before ur life changed. but whenever that thought crops up, i just take one look at the smiling face of little jj and just sigh.. i wudn't trade this for anything in the world.

over the years i noticed that when it comes to the month of february, i've always had something to say about this topic of love. considering that i've gone through the whole gamut of feelings that u can experience from love, u wud expect la i had a lot to say about it la kan.

anyways, this year i told the senorita i'll write her one nice soppy entry. and the problem with that is u don't la put pressure on urself by telling that person u love that u wud be writing a nice angau entry. u shud just go ahead and write la. tak pasal-pasal aje give her expectations yang melampau.

love. before i met the senorita i thought i knew what love meant. u devote urself to that one person and hope that she reciprocates. so much so that it becomes a chore in the end. when it seemed that ur fighting a losing battle. a one sided affair where it felt like ur partner was batting for another team. u thought that this isn't what love suppose to be. but u really don't have any clue of how true love feels like.

some people would go the rest of their lives without ever finding the meaning of true love. some people are still searching. some don't even know what is it that they are supposed to look for. some don't know even if it was staring them right in the face.

some are just lucky.

luck however will only get u so far. meeting the senorita for the first time was a mixture of luck and perseverance. luck on my part. perseverance on hers. but when we did meet, i instantly knew that there was something different about her.

for starters, she knew what she wanted and that definitely made it easier for me. we both didn't want to waste each other's time and things were clear from the outset. but it wasn't easy. nothing ever is. the best thing was, the senorita was someone that u would want to be in ur corner. a fighter that u will count urself lucky to have fighting with u in the trenches.

she showed me what it means to love. she showed me that there is life after heartbreak. she showed me the best that love had to offer.

and even now i'm still surprised at how she makes me feel.

how she is with little jj.
how she is with the little munchkin.
how she can just make me smile with that look in her eyes.
how she would just whip something up in the kitchen and it would just taste so good,
and how every time i ask, her secret ingredient would always be LOVE.
how we just fit.
how she would just make the pain go away.
how she is always right - even if i never liked to admit it.
how she just fills me with so much love.

i love u baby.

Brand new year, same old shit?

2017 is here. After that very eventful 2016 one can't help but hope that the new year brings about more positive things. It doesn't look all that good though.
Will we get an election this year? I'd seriously consider it if I was the pm. I mean yes he has go a lot going for him but what he doesn't have at the moment is a credible United opposition to give him a run for his money. So yeah. Calling for an early election may be something that can be to his favour.
Will stupid acts by stupid people stop making then famous? Nope. Early on we saw a bunch of kids scaling the IPOH sign for shits and giggles. Posted everything on social media. Last I heard they've already come in to give statements to the fuzz. So the moral of the story is if you wanna do stupid things don't blab on social media with your smiling mug there for everyone to see.
Pump prices are up. No point complaining anymore since the price mechanism is partially public so we can pretty much guess th…

What's in it for me.

Looking at how the campaign for the Sarawak state election is going you would think that is a matter of who can promise the most who would probably win it. Difference being one party boasts a track record and the other one, well depends on which other one that is doesn't.
I especially love it how these promises are all presented as conditional upon winning the election. Doesn't reek of bribery at all eh? Not buying votes. Yeah right.
You would think that given how Selangor and Penang are run, they would want to see it emulated in Sarawak? I guess loyalty goes a long way over there.
As it is there are a couple of outstanding issues that Sarawak can use as a bargaining chip in trying to force the federal government to start giving them more.
Oil royalties, more federal projects etc. and what better way to do it than to vote for the opposition?
If the opposition wins, then Sarawakians can send a message to the federal gov't that hey if you don't give us what we want than t…
