happy new year..

so the new year is upon us. for the first time since the senorita and i went out, we're going to stay home for the new year. with little jj, we all didn't think it was a good idea to be out and about. what with the throng of people and the nite weather and what not.

last year it was a quaint friendly get together at eju and muz's. little jj was still jumping jellybeanizing inside mommy back then. those two are larging it up in the uk. so it'll just be the four of us and the telly for the new year. little jj is asleep. tlm is doing some stuff in his room. he's basically fabricating an imaginary wrestling rink to play with his wrestling figurines.

the senorita just had a go at diner dash on the ds. she's really good at the game. in fact i think she's really good at the game no matter what platform she plays it on. psp, phone. that's another game she can enjoy beating me up on. she's always on standby for little jj's booty call. now that didn't come out right. boobies call. hehe. feeding time.

diner dashing..

and i'm sitting here watching the 30 Rock marathon on star world. i know the show is funny, but i never really got to watch it. probably clashed with some other program that i never watch. anyways, i'm probably way behind on this but lemme just say that the show rocks. hehe. and that cerie xerox is super hot. hehe. i can feel the senorita's piercing stare boring through my skull. hehe.

anyways, its already 10 past 11. lets see what else is on. hehe Bobby is on channel 808. penyair... aku... bukaaaan. hehe. i'll stick with 30 rock for now.

so now what? well what can i say. 2008 was great. the single most unforgettable moment of the year for me was when i was holding the senorita's hand in the labour room, whilst the doctor was delivering little jj. i knew she was going through a lot and the most that i can do was to comfort her and not faint. ;p i can never forget the first time we had little jj in the senorita's arms. she looked so small and fragile. and look at her now. hehe. all credit to the senorita's nutritious breast milk. hehe a plug for breast feeding eh.

and what does 2009 have in store for us? hehe well we have 365 days to find out eh. so happy new year everyone.

Brand new year, same old shit?

2017 is here. After that very eventful 2016 one can't help but hope that the new year brings about more positive things. It doesn't look all that good though.
Will we get an election this year? I'd seriously consider it if I was the pm. I mean yes he has go a lot going for him but what he doesn't have at the moment is a credible United opposition to give him a run for his money. So yeah. Calling for an early election may be something that can be to his favour.
Will stupid acts by stupid people stop making then famous? Nope. Early on we saw a bunch of kids scaling the IPOH sign for shits and giggles. Posted everything on social media. Last I heard they've already come in to give statements to the fuzz. So the moral of the story is if you wanna do stupid things don't blab on social media with your smiling mug there for everyone to see.
Pump prices are up. No point complaining anymore since the price mechanism is partially public so we can pretty much guess th…

What's in it for me.

Looking at how the campaign for the Sarawak state election is going you would think that is a matter of who can promise the most who would probably win it. Difference being one party boasts a track record and the other one, well depends on which other one that is doesn't.
I especially love it how these promises are all presented as conditional upon winning the election. Doesn't reek of bribery at all eh? Not buying votes. Yeah right.
You would think that given how Selangor and Penang are run, they would want to see it emulated in Sarawak? I guess loyalty goes a long way over there.
As it is there are a couple of outstanding issues that Sarawak can use as a bargaining chip in trying to force the federal government to start giving them more.
Oil royalties, more federal projects etc. and what better way to do it than to vote for the opposition?
If the opposition wins, then Sarawakians can send a message to the federal gov't that hey if you don't give us what we want than t…
