But there's no pornografie monsier..

Due to the very strict publication laws in malaisie, everytime someone close to me goes abroad, i (as in the collective raffali boys) would always try to get them to buy playboy. Now more often than not people would have the the impression that playboy is porn. Yeah sure there are some pictures of naked ladies in there but that's about it. To me porn is blatant exposure of sex bits or people engaging in sexual acts be it in film or pictures. So in essence playboy ain't porn.

Good luck la trying to justify that to anyone. Anyways, i think we all have collected a number of said publications, from australia, russia, german. The culprits being my sister ana yg ade gi travel merata, my brother asyiq yang dok study kat russia and my best bud ahmad yang also got the chance every now and then to go abroad. So here i'm adding to the collection. Fevrier 2008 edition francaise. I'm digressing sebenarnya. The point that i was trying to make was, upon making my payment to the newstand guy, he looked at me funny and said in a french accent, " but sir there's no pornografie in that"

I dunno whether to feel vindicated that finally someone agrees that playboy ain't porn or that i looked like someone who's looking for porn in the first place.

Anyways, the workshop finished a bit early so my colleagues wanted to take the metro to the avenue des champs elysees. Tengok le arc de triomphe and do some souvenir shopping as well. I've essentially gotten the souvenirs for colleagues and friends la kan. Tengah looking hard for something special for the gorgeous senorita. I did manage to kem salam aje la kan dekat Cartier, and LV. Abg Fendi and Kak Dior tak sempat lagi.

Funny thing dekat LV store tu so berbeda from the LV yang kat KLCC. I mean kat klcc nak masuk pun macam segan. Dekat sini mostly japanese tourist yang borong macam kat supermarket. Nak kata murah tu hmm maybe for them it's cheap la kot. Tapi borong macam tak ingat. Hehe macam tak exclusive dah jadinye. But LV is still LV la kan.

Hmm ingat esok nak ronda ronda lagi. Mana la tau can find some bargains.

The calling cards are coming in handy. Dapat gak lepas rindu dendam ding dong. Love u sayang.

Brand new year, same old shit?

2017 is here. After that very eventful 2016 one can't help but hope that the new year brings about more positive things. It doesn't look all that good though.
Will we get an election this year? I'd seriously consider it if I was the pm. I mean yes he has go a lot going for him but what he doesn't have at the moment is a credible United opposition to give him a run for his money. So yeah. Calling for an early election may be something that can be to his favour.
Will stupid acts by stupid people stop making then famous? Nope. Early on we saw a bunch of kids scaling the IPOH sign for shits and giggles. Posted everything on social media. Last I heard they've already come in to give statements to the fuzz. So the moral of the story is if you wanna do stupid things don't blab on social media with your smiling mug there for everyone to see.
Pump prices are up. No point complaining anymore since the price mechanism is partially public so we can pretty much guess th…

What's in it for me.

Looking at how the campaign for the Sarawak state election is going you would think that is a matter of who can promise the most who would probably win it. Difference being one party boasts a track record and the other one, well depends on which other one that is doesn't.
I especially love it how these promises are all presented as conditional upon winning the election. Doesn't reek of bribery at all eh? Not buying votes. Yeah right.
You would think that given how Selangor and Penang are run, they would want to see it emulated in Sarawak? I guess loyalty goes a long way over there.
As it is there are a couple of outstanding issues that Sarawak can use as a bargaining chip in trying to force the federal government to start giving them more.
Oil royalties, more federal projects etc. and what better way to do it than to vote for the opposition?
If the opposition wins, then Sarawakians can send a message to the federal gov't that hey if you don't give us what we want than t…
