The return of game boy and gadget girl..

So i'm writing this update in envy. Why you might ask? Well i'm currently typing from the gorgeous senorita's newest 'toy'. Yesterday while we were out at sunway piramid, the senorita had a company event, so the little munchkin and myself were checking out the area they are pretty much renovating so the parking was a bit of a mess but at least it's improving.

Tlm and i were browsing the tech area. He wanted to go ice skating but i figured we would go there another time. We ended up bowling instead. Okay gak si kecik tu menolak bola. Hehe. Had lunch and then we waited for the senorita to finish with her do. She needed to buy some stuff first so we went shopping first. Now the senorita needed to get a car charger for her nokia hp. We went to the nokia booth and her eyes caught the nokia e90. She asked to try it, it was only a mock model. But she fell in love with the keyboard. Alas the shop was outta stock.

So we went to the digital center. Came across this one shop who had one last stock. Haggled for a bit. And she traded in her e65. And now i'm typing this entry on her new machine. I want one :p

Anyways after my much deliberation on what to get for my gadget fix, you know the contemplation of getting that smartphone or what not. Well i decided against it. What changed my mind you may ask? Well on friday ahmad came over for a guys gaming night. The senorita was not only receptive to the idea, she pretty much suggested it in the first place! It was merdeka eve and we just had our anniversary dinner. Called up ahmad and surprisingly he wasn't doing anything. Ahmad brought along ms Lara Croft along. She ain't got nothing on the senorita. :)

That gaming session kinda triggered the dormant game monster inside me. Hehe so rather than spending on a business oriented smartphone i'm now the proud owner of a pink colored psp. I'm actually surprised that the senorita was okay with it. Hehe maybe she was preoccupied with her gadget at the time. But i did promise that i'd be more responsible with my leisure gaming.

But the highlight of this weekend splurge must be the e90. Nanti i'll update more.

Brand new year, same old shit?

2017 is here. After that very eventful 2016 one can't help but hope that the new year brings about more positive things. It doesn't look all that good though.
Will we get an election this year? I'd seriously consider it if I was the pm. I mean yes he has go a lot going for him but what he doesn't have at the moment is a credible United opposition to give him a run for his money. So yeah. Calling for an early election may be something that can be to his favour.
Will stupid acts by stupid people stop making then famous? Nope. Early on we saw a bunch of kids scaling the IPOH sign for shits and giggles. Posted everything on social media. Last I heard they've already come in to give statements to the fuzz. So the moral of the story is if you wanna do stupid things don't blab on social media with your smiling mug there for everyone to see.
Pump prices are up. No point complaining anymore since the price mechanism is partially public so we can pretty much guess th…

What's in it for me.

Looking at how the campaign for the Sarawak state election is going you would think that is a matter of who can promise the most who would probably win it. Difference being one party boasts a track record and the other one, well depends on which other one that is doesn't.
I especially love it how these promises are all presented as conditional upon winning the election. Doesn't reek of bribery at all eh? Not buying votes. Yeah right.
You would think that given how Selangor and Penang are run, they would want to see it emulated in Sarawak? I guess loyalty goes a long way over there.
As it is there are a couple of outstanding issues that Sarawak can use as a bargaining chip in trying to force the federal government to start giving them more.
Oil royalties, more federal projects etc. and what better way to do it than to vote for the opposition?
If the opposition wins, then Sarawakians can send a message to the federal gov't that hey if you don't give us what we want than t…
